Set up Claude Code

Connect your Claude plan

Agent runs you start, and chats you set to run on Claude Code, then use your own Claude subscription (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise) instead of the workspace's API keys. It takes about two minutes: install Claude Code on your computer, ask it for a token, and paste the token here. Only your own runs and chats use it.

    Install Claude Code

    Your computer:
    curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bash

    Open Terminal (⌘ Space, type Terminal) and paste this.

    It shows no progress while it downloads; give it a minute. No admin rights needed.

    Check it works

    Open a new terminal window (so it picks up the new command) and run:

    claude --version

    It prints a version number. If it says claude: command not found or not recognized, see Anthropic's install troubleshooting .

    Create a token for Mimir

    Run this, and sign in with your Claude account in the browser window it opens:

    claude setup-token
    When it's done it prints a long token starting sk-ant-oat01-. Copy all of it. The free Claude plan doesn't include Claude Code, so you'll need Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise. You don't need to keep Claude Code running afterwards.

    Stored encrypted, only ever used for your own runs, and never shown again in full.
